Cue linking questions

Hi everyone,

I'm running titan go v18 with a titan mobile (if i'm not mistaken 3th gen, with the internal key)

I'm hoping that someone can help me with this, I'm building a touring showfile and when I saw the link option in the copy menu I thought this was gonna be my silver bullet to make this super easy.
In this showfile five got about 16 playbacks which are my songs, each playback has the colour, position and beam data for that song and a second cue with a macro to pull up a specific fader page which belongs to that song.

In my playback window I've got some playbacks which are the building blocks to my file, so a couple of different strobes, some effects, some movements and stuff like that. I use reuse a lot of these throughout the song and in my logic the link would mean that if let's say I use my strobe over my heads in song 2, 3, 4, 6, 10 and 12 that I shouldn't have to update this strobe 6 times because the exchanged fixture behaves a little different than the last one but I should be able to just update the one cue in my playback window. Or if I have a cuelist for the front lighting where I have a couple of cues with full front, just lead, just guitar etc. Why if I add a cue to that list doesn't it update all the linked cuelists to have that extra cue???

Is it just me or can someone explain how the link fuction works.
