Liner Dimming TT

Postby zahoorjury » 05 Feb 2026, 23:03

Hi all, i have some Chinese COB lights which i am using as audience Facelight , due to its Bad build when i rise my Playback fader its gradually flick or jerk its light output from 0 to 29 fader value and then above 30 to 255 it goes fine , although while dimming like 255-0 fader value it’s fine ,
Now the idea is how can save an intensity Fader with a min value of 30 and while full at 255

You can create a custom curve for this and apply it to this playback. Alternatively you can also try and apply this cuve to the fixture's dimmer channel in the patch menu. See https://manual.avolites.com/docs/system-settings/curves (and other places in the manual). In order to make your own cuve you need to edit the file curve.xml in the personalities folder.

As a quick help you can also set a lower limit to the dimmer attribute.
