D7-330 rotary encoder issue as BPM master

Postby ArieGroen » 27 Nov 2025, 08:36

Hi Avo,

Since we have the D7-330 in our venue ( De Boerderij , Zoetermeer, NL ) I ran into this issue:
The Rotary encoders can be assigned as masters, ofcourse, but......
As a Rate master it works fine and I can adjust the rate from 0 to 100% in about one or two turns.
As a BPM master however, the response is terribly slow. It's about 2 or 3 BPM per turn.
Am I doing something wrong here?

And when defining a rotary as size master, it would be great to have a Speed/Size Master key-profile option to have one of the keys defined as "return to Zero".
So, Grey - Flash, Blue - Tap Tempo, Black & Virtual - "Return to Zero".
I hoped "Release" would do this but unfortunately it doesn't.
Am I overlooking anything?

Cheers,
Arie
