Newbie on the Pearl here.
I'm using the include feature in theatre stack to program in my LED's to each song we're doing. I'm at a church, so we're usually keeping one background for each song.
I've just added some movers, Martin 500m4. I'm wanting them at one point to be on the back curtain, then move to the side walls. I know I can upload the playback that I've saved, but what is the easiest way to make sure it just goes where it needs to. During a song, I'm keeping the same gobo, so no downtime is needed. Between songs, however, I'm needing gobo changes.
Thanks for your help.

the way i would do somthing similar is to put it all in the stack for instance have them pointing at the background then you press the go button and it will go to the walls, as for clear gobo transition, it depends on wether you need the lights to be on when you change the gobo. i would personally make another cue that has dimmers set to 0% but with positions and gobos set for the next cue, i use this often within productions for things like scrollers and moving heads, only time i would have problems is if i had a chase set up with the moving heads and i advace the cue, it then takes over the fixtures.
i think what i have writen makes sense if not im sure the much more informed LD's will be able to help you.

Instead of using a stack, use a chase. Unlink it. Unfold and you can alter the times between steps via 'edit times' and then use the GO button to trigger the step. This is a much easier way to edit and play back your scences while leaving more playbacks for overides.
Therefore, pretty quickly, you can program the out cue or fade, then a blank step with a fast move or gobo change and then a slower in cue. As all the steps are laid out in front of you via the faders you will be able to edit and preview at your leisure.
The stacks great but for fewer lights and realitivly uncomplicated scenes I find it easier to use an unlinked chase.
