Hi!!
A few days ago, I got a interesting message from a guy who is working at night club.
While talking about Titan one, he told me that Titan touch can control video output by midi signals.
He saw it on Youtube and he is doing similar things by VDMX program.
When I used a classic Pearl Tiger, I had an experience connecting midi keyboard to Pearl Tiger.
But I never tried to control video with it. As you know, Titan one can't take midi signals.
So if I want to control video and fixtures in a one console, what is minimum requirements??
Well, VDMX, midi keyboard and Titan one could be enough but I just want to do it in a ONE CONSOLE.
And Ai v9 and VDMX are similar things??

Re: Control Video and fixtures
The term used to describe these programs is 'Media Server'.
The majority are controlled via Art-Net which all Titan software has. However, some media servers can require large numbers of channels so the single universe limit in TitanOne could be a problem. Similarly, the hardware requirements for the media server will vary between products and according to application.

I am new about the media sever, so if I say something stupid, plz correct me.
I roughly read Ai manual and it said it use 100 DMX channels at maximum.
In my club, I use under 200 DMX channels for my fixtures. And I have Titan one.
If I install Ai, VDMX or whatever media sever, could I control my fixtures and video in my Titan one at once??
If I use DMX channels for fixtures and Art-Net for media-sever, do I use two universe??
I never tried it before but if it's possible, at first I just want to do very simple thing that changing some video clips with my click in Titan.
Re: Control Video and fixtures
You can assign the physical DMX as well as Art-Net to the same line so as long as you don't need more than 512 channels total then this should be fine.
Have a look at Screen Monkey which might be better suited.
