DMX output disappearing

Ive had a problem with DMX disappearing from the outputs on the back of the console. I was using all 4 outputs, but halfway through a show C and D disappeared. the lights still showed that DMX was present but they were not rersponding. A reboot of the console made the lines appear again. has anyone else experienced these problems, and whats a good way to reconnect without having to reboot the console..

I had a similar - or: related - thing; it was during a heavy upgrade-and-test session, hence it's not representative, and was most likely my fault. However, the quick fix is the magic 'Panel reset' button. Know that this effectively resets the entire USB bus, including all fader panels. But in any case it's much quicker than restarting the console.

Panel reset was my first thought and I would still try it but normally I would expect no DMX output in this case (ie. fixtures show no DMX) and I've only ever seen immediately after boot. I've never seen a failure mid-session.

Yeah, I dont think that was the issue. I still had output on A and B, and the fixtures connected to C and D still showed DMX present. So I think it is some kinda disconnection inside the software.
Maybe Ill try to reconnect the universes in user settings, but a bit difficult mid show..

It reminds me something I've experienced on TM twice...
I'm not sure about the dmx on the fixtures...but restarting the software did the trick...repatching the dmx lines didn't.
When I unpatched the line all the fixtures went to the ZERO position ( not the locate). so I suppose DMX was outputting...
