License days remaining?

I just updated the Pearl Expert we have to 7.2, but when I go to the system mode, I get the message saying License days remaining 226.

Why is that happening? Is there any way that I can solve it?

There is no way to stop it, when it expires your console will not work at all.
This will be great if it happens in the middle of a run of shows you have just spent weeks programming!

Hi Nishrigo,

There is a software timeout on Version 7.0 and above. The timeout date is set to give plenty of time to install the next software version, and also the version after that.

Many months before the software times out you will be warned every time you start your console that the software should be upgraded. It is also possible for Avolites to give you a special code for use with your console only to alter the timeout date.

Can you please send me either by email (ric at avolites.com) or by PM the serial number of your console so I can also give you additional information.
