locate and disk function not running

Hi first time For me Here.
i have some problema on My Pearl Expert running titan 6...every thing runs good until
Yesterday, when after repatchig some fixtures of the show, the locate, disk, updatepalette buttons stop working. Even the red led doesnt light up. It's a Little bit hard to work without saving\loading and locating fixtures. All playbacks and cues runs fine.
software or hardware issue? Thanks

It may be an issue with the Program Panel USB board. I would suggest opening USB Expert Console from the Tools menu in the top left had corner of the screen under Control Panel. In USB Expert Console check if any of the panels are shown with errors in the top left hand box then press the keys are aren't responding and check if the presses appear in the middle box.

The usb panel doesnt report malfunctions. The funny thing is that i cant even try to load
a new blank show!! 😞...also effect prism, speed and attribute option button seems to be dead.. Do i have to reinstall titan?

If, when you press those buttons they are responding in the middle box but not in Titan then I would check the panel firmware is up-to-date first. Open Usb Expert Console, go to the service tab and see if there are any updates.

If there are no updates or if this doesn't fix it then I would run a full 6.0 recovery stick and then install 6.1. This will guarantee the software is correct and at latest version.

If the problems still remain after this then it must be hardware.

/edit: also, from your description I think this is unlikely but just to be sure is the software definitely in program mode (softkey A = [Edit Times] etc.)?

the usb panel does not show any activity from the buttons pressed...and it says everything's normal on the top left box.
Yes, desk is on program mode.
I downloaded the V.6 recovery stick creator and installed in a usb pen drive (i have already upgraded my pearl to V.6).
Do i have to follow the same instructions to reinstall the software or is simplier?

The panel information in the top left box is confirming status of the whole panel but if just some the keys are not responding then it sounds like a hardware problem with the program panel to me.

While there's no harm in reinstalling from your description I think it is unlikely to fix.

The install procedure should be boot from recovery stick & follow instructions. Then once 6.0 is working install 6.1 over the top.

i reinstalled titan V.6 and upgraded to V6.1 but the problem still remain.
I have noticed after the upgrading when the desk start up (and cant find any showfile to load due to upgrade erase) that led on DISK button light up properly but after creating new show it's still dead as locate, update palette, attribute options, speed and effect prism button.
The usb panel shows no problems and it's up to date but it ignores channel detection on those keys press.
Seems strange to me an hardware issue because all the blue and grey keys are driven by the same usb connector, so why only those keys doesnt run?

I don't know. Broken buttons? Something else broken on the panel? The Usb connection is clearly working and this is confirmed in usb expert but if the keys don't respond then I would conclude it must be a problem on the panel one way or another.

I suggest you contact service at this point.
