Hi,
Been pulling my hair out trying to get the select if function to jump along.
IE, select all fixture, then choose 1 in 3 option, this grabs the first fixture in every 3, but no matter what i try i cant get to the next set of fixtures as in second fixture in the bunch of 3 is doesn't work.
I can see the next command which the manual refers too but even when pressing avo button and next it does not jump.
Its bound to be something simple, if someone could put me out of my misery it would be much appreciated.

On TM (and newer laminates on other consoles) the 'Next/Prev' are labelled 'Fix-1/Fix+1'.
Note that this function is called 'Pattern Selection'. 'Select If' is used to things like 'select me all the fixtures that have intensity above 10%' or 'select all the fixtures in this playback that are using palette x'.

Hi,
That does not work unless i am doing something wrong, it just jumps between individual fixtures within the selected group, rather than jumping to the next group.

Ah managed to get it to work, but it only works if u use the all button, just holding down a group and selecting 1 in 3 etc does not work. Guessing this is a bug!

I can see where you were having trouble but this is working as designed.
The Next/Prev (Fix +1/Fix -1) buttons provide a shortcut to editing (and cycling through) a subset of fixtures that are currently in the programmer, dependant on fixture order and pattern.
When you hold a group button you have the ability to filter the selection according to a pattern. This will then put only the filtered selection into the programmer. The Next/Prev buttons will then act within this selection.
It is important to understand the programmer and the editor.
For example if you have a group of eight fixtures and select the group this will place all eight in the programmer and the editor. If you then press ALL and select [Odd], just the odd fixtures (ie. 1,3,5,7) will be highlighted for editing but all eight are still in the programmer and if you then record this as a cue all eight fixtures will be stored, even if you have not adjusted any attribute values.
In contrast if you were to hold the group and select [Odd] then only the odd fixtures will be placed in the programmer and, subsequently would be recorded. If you were to further filter these with an odd selection pattern you would end up with just 1 and 5 in the editor.
Note that in some situations cues or functions may behave differently or in unexpected ways if they contain fixtures which have no attribute values and were not intentionally placed there (examples include fixture overlap and filtered palette). Therefore the ability to filter fixtures from groups is a useful function.
