Programming using buttons

Postby nishrigo » 11 Feb 2013, 08:41

I have been programming shows on the Pearl Expert (using only conventional lanterns) with primarily a one-to-one patch. So when I wanted to change the intensity, the syntax <FIXTURE> <15> <@> <25> <ENTER> worked fine.

But when I do a soft patch, I have some trouble in punching these numbers since FIXTURE corresponds to dimmer number, rather than the channel number. Is there some way where I can type in the channel numbers and make programming using the buttons a little easier?

Thanks a lot!

There is currently no way to control channels directly.

But if you are only using conventionals I would just renumber all the fixtures to match your channels.

Actually I discovered that I can select the channel mode (rather handles) by clicking the <A> soft key after selecting the <FIXTURE>
