Pearl 2008
I'm running a pearl 2008 and was wondering if there was a way while running one shape, say a swing or circle or whatever, and then bring up another fader that would bounce whatever color your fixture is to white then back to existing color. Basically if the light is red can you make go to white then back to red.

Essentially, you're askinng two things, if I understand it right.
- yes, it's possible to run multiple shapes simultaneously. Please watch for 'Record By Channel' when storing the memory
- that means, of course it's possible to run a P/T shape on one cue, and trigger a colour shape with a second.
- but, if your intended colour thing is more like a colour bump, it's a little more difficult - releasing to previous state is not possible with the classic desks
- a workaround: use a (possibly custom) shape for the colours which is stopped at white. Shapes have a higher priority, thus when this cue is fired, the fixtures turn white - and turn back to their previous colour when the fader is set back to zero. Well, with the standard shapes this works only at 50% white (grey, so to say) - but I tend to think it should be possible with a custom shape
