Pearls and RDM

Postby BungalowJumper » 06 Mar 2012, 16:41

Hi folks,

Quick question for the forum today.

Will Avo consoles become capable of using RDM to talk to fixtures? Currently there does not appear to be any mention of RDM in the Titan manual.
A little bit of Search-fu found This Thread from 2006, so assuming the bi-directional communication was implemented back then (so is still incorporated on all the consoles) at what point are we likely to see RDM functionality arriving on the consoles?

If(when?!) it is included in the software how much functionality is likely to be included? Will we only have access to remote addressing and fixture footprint/patching or will access be allowed to the wider range of RDM replies that individual fixtures may be able to return?

Thanks
Paddy
