Section 9.5 of the manual details timecode.
Section 10.4 details triggers.

You can download the manual here

It pretty much depends from what you have available. I recently set it up (for testing only) with an 'external' Soundcard (Edirol UA25) and a notebook running Reaper, see http://www.avolitesshop.co.uk/phpBB3/vi ... php?t=1836

Generally, you'd need either a MIDI-Timecode (MTC) capable software, and a soundcard with MIDI out, or maybe there is some ready-made hardware (sequencer or such) available.

Hi Brian,

well, what I can confirm is that I got it running, reliably. But since outputting MTC is certainly only one aspect when choosing a software, I am sure you will agree that there is no point in recommending it without knowing all your other needs. If you want someone to recommend a software, you need to specify what you expect the software to do. You may download and try Reaper for free. You might ask some Steinberg guru.... And probably there are MIDI forums where you'll find many more users accustomed to Timecode.

Sorry mate.
