Hi,
I have read a former post of the working method of the Pearl Tiger(http://forum.avolites.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=1501&highlight=paging) and there i read some good rules:
- Intensity/shapes on playbacks. Everything else on palette.
- Keep palettes specific to single attribute/fixture type and use Quick Palette.
But I am looking for more best programming practices for the Tiger Touch. Who will elaborate on the following subjects and questions?
Playback view vs Playback faders
The Tiger Touch has a Playback window and Playback faders. I use the playback faders for movingheads (intensity, pan/tilt movement macro's size/speed). I use the Playbacks in the Playback view for (color, beam, gobo, etc) shapes and static fixtures (led effects) etc.
Each cue on the Playback faders is also linked to a static cue in the Playback view.
What type of cue are you putting at the Playback view and/or Playback faders.
Playback pages
I like to use more pages, but I struggling with the sorting of the cue's over the playback's and pages.
When you put a new Playback on the 2th page, it sort of exclude the execution of Cue on the first page. You can not run both at the same time.
What is the best practice of sorting the cue's over the playbacks and pages?
Keeping the fixture cue's on the same playback number/fader for each page?
If you have a cue on page 1 and one on page 2 of the Playback view. Execute the playback on page 1, goto the second page, the executed playback from page 1 is still shown on page 2. So you can not see the legend of the cue on the page 2.
What is the best practice of sorting the cue's over the playbacks in the Playback view?
And is there a difference between programming for busking or non busking performances?
Kind regards,
