Error right scroll wheel

Sometimes the right scroll wheel on our Expert refuse to work. You can scroll for the evening but nothing will happen. Anyone else with the same? We need to reboot the system to solve this and sometimes it takes a couple of reboots. Is this some software failure or is it a hardware thing?

Note that sometimes if it is working and when you scroll it clockwise the numbers are counting down instead of up. very strange. Thats why I think it is a software issue.

Never seen anything like it. I'd guess hardware.

Open Usb Console when it stops working and see whether that sees it or not. If not then almost certainly hardware.

This does sound very much luck an intermittent wheel encoder hardware fault that I've seen in other desks. If I'm right you'll see the wheel only work in one direction in USB Expert when the fault is present. As one wheel is working and the other is fine this makes it more likely that the encoder is the problem an not the entire panel.

I'd contact your local distributor to arrange a service/replacement encoder.
