I'm wondering if anyone can think of a way to program this type of cue:
Suppose there are 8 LED Pars hung vertically on top of each other in one line. Using fader mode 2 and maybe fixture overlap (?), could I program a cue that fades up the stack of pars? Meaning, at 25%, the first two pars will be at full, at 50%, the first four will be at full, at 60%, the first four will be at full and the fifth will be at half intensity, etc.
Any ideas on how to achieve this?
Is This Possible?

Yes, it's possible, exactly the way you suggested. Memory mode 2 and Fixture Overlap = 0% do the trick - and you can create interesting effects with Fixture Order. See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNOFLwSjB-o (sorry, it's in german)
