While you wait for Olie I was wondering what sort of install you did? Was it just the 6.1 installer or did you do the whole 6.0 recovery?

I recommend running 6.0 recovery followed by update. This will reinstall the operating system and associated files whereas the 6.1 update just does the Avo software. That should almost certainly get it all back to normal.

While this does not answer the question why the problem has occurred and is clearly a longer process, in my experience it always ends up being faster than fiddling around trying to solve an issue manually.

Personally I would probably backup my showfiles and anything else then use the 'full' option in this instance.

Have just've downloaded Tiger Touch v6.0 Recovery Creator

Completely according to the manual I try and install

Then I run the update 6.1

Have security copied the show

I guess the problem was when we were without power for mixplace

So it is working ok now, yes?

Like any computer it is possible to corrupt the file system with sudden power loss. This is why it is recommended to use a UPS wherever possible.
