New question about the titan mobile/titan sw.. Snap to live?

Postby rlangaard » 13 Dec 2012, 14:45

Hi!
Can any of you give me a tip about something on the T.M.

In the cuelist I run for the theatre show I'm doing these days I have a cue that have a 4 min wait in and a 4 min fade in time.

If i just want to edit the cue a bit, do i really have to wait the complete 8 mins, or is there a way to snap to the end of the cue?

I seem to remember the Pearl had a "Snap to live"? Is this in the Titan Mobile?

This is a good question. The function exists and is called 'Cut Next Cue to Live'. This is available as a key profile option and on the 'bounce' (<-->) key on PE & TT but I can't find a key on the TM that is assigned to this. Neither can I see a keyboard shortcut or factory macro.

If I'm not missing something obvious then my suggestion for the moment is to either create a key profile where one of the blue or grey keys is set to 'Cut Next Cue to Live' for cue-lists and switch to that or load the show into the PE or TT simulator and create a macro for that key which you could then assign somewhere convenient for your editing needs. Save it out and head back to the TM.

Obviously key profiles might not be suitable if your lists are not on faders. I had a quick play with the macro and it seems to work.

thank you, niclights!

I'll look into this later, I am running a show right now! :)

I just did it the hard way of changing the fade times before and after editing tonight.. :)

A macro for 'Snap Forward' a.k.a. 'Cut Next Cue to Live' was added to the factory macro library 2 weeks ago along with a 'Snap Back' macro. The macro library is included with the fixture personality library which can be downloaded from here.
