Simulator to run the show?

Postby nishrigo » 22 Nov 2012, 07:26

Is there a possibility to run a show programmed for Pearl Expert (v 6.0) through a simulator?
I am travelling with the show and it is impossible to take the console with me. I know that GrandMA supports this, where the console can be made into a slave and the show can be run from the laptop.
I sure hope this will be possible with the Pearl Expert as well.

Well, no, that's not possible. Of course the Simulator can read the show, and it can output Art-Net - but there is a spoiler, which will disturb the ouput every other minute or so. Your options would be a Titan Mobile, or a Titan One - the latter limits outputs to one universe.

Btw., you're slightly wrong regarding MA - without any dedicated hardware, you cannot run a show with GrandMA onPC. You'll always need consoles, nodes or wings, to enable a number of parameters.
