Do they not work at all? I've never been able to get anything out of them, they just spin around very fast and don't do anything.
If they don't work, is there any other way to input hard values into the programmer?

Essentially, it's like:
- select the appropriate attribute bank
- type in a number
- select the value you want to set from the soft buttons
But then, why not make simulator work as it should be? Can't be a huge thing.
- do the other controls on the virtual panel work?
- which desk do you use in simulator? If the Pearl Expert, scroll down in the virtual panel, there are three more encoders...
- if the controls on the virtual panel do not work at all, we need to dig a little deeper. It might be something like virtual panel started not from within the simulator, or the USBExpertService not running.

Thanks for the help on inputting values, I can't believe I've gone this long without knowing it...
The encoders on the simulator still do not work, everything else works just fine. I always use the Titan Mobile Simulator because for now that's the only Titan console that I use, so I don't know about the other simulators.
Any ideas?
On a somewhat related note, the hard keys right next to each encoder are still not used, correct?

Essentially I'd suggest a re-install of the simulator.
If you really want to dig deeper:
- fire up Virtual Panel
- fire up USB Expert Console
- in the latter, Tools -> ACW Service -> Start
- now, on the Virtual Panel, turn the encoders. Do you see some values changing in USB Expert?
If yes, then it's some setting in the simulator.
If no, then it's Virtual Panel which is broken (virtually the wires of the encoders became loose, I reckon - sorry for the joke)

To me it looks like a weird setting in the simulator - I just played a little with some user settings (like: starting up PExp Sim, disabling the wing etc.) but couldn't reproduce your problem. I don't know what else depends from your simulator installation. But I'd backup all your shows (and personalities if you created any), do a full uninstall, reboot, install v6 (which involves another reboot), and try again. Shouldn't take you too long.

Yes, it's an Acer Iconia 6120 running Windows. http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/iconia
The only thing that I can think of is the dual touch screen interface messing with Titan software, it has done some funny things with V6, this might be one of them I suppose...

I was having trouble with the encoders also, but I found that (believe it or not) if I positioned my 2nd display to the right of the 1st display (within the widows xp settings) that they worked fine.. I had originally had it set up to be above the 1st.. I have no idea why that would matter, but it has been working fine ever since!
