midi trigger with titan

Postby samy » 22 Aug 2012, 08:16

Hello,
I would like to connect my midi keyboard to my pearl ( titanv6), but midi trigger don’t work!
What’s wrong?
I connect keyboard midi out to pearl midi in.
In set up of the pearl, I add new (name keyboard), and add trigger.
I move a fader (exemple is fader roller B1, I have just pan tilt and color on my fixtures)
Trigger type is hardware, and I say OK.
The trigger type is midi, Learn is on, midi channel =1
Commande= note is on when I play on keyboard ( I can see the bargraph)
Value is 36 ( I don’t kwow what is it!)
Min level = 0
Max level= 127
And I press ok
I can see in the triggers in keyboard windows :
Type stimulus action
Midi MIDI:80 3C set hardware fader level roller B1
I come back in prog or run mode.
But when I play on my keyboard, nothing happens.
Can you help me?

maybe you could try it with a dimmer cue at first - this avoids running into an LTP 'problem': of course it 'doesn't work' after the cue was fired previously.

In general I do find it more useful to set it to 'Trigger Type: Item' - this way you really extend the desk, and can control cues which aren't even on active pages.

I have the same problem with a simple dimmer cue or a dimmer chase.
Can you tell me more about commande. There's many possibility like note off, toe on, after touch, controle chang, program change, pitch wheel.
And nothing about in the manual
