I have the Titan Sim 5.0 package installed on my virtual PC (run through VMWare Fusion), and every time I try to start it, I get an error message saying that ACW is not installed on this machine. The program then refuses to continue; it just sits there showing the Titan loading screen and a blank Virtual Panel window.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing the software (I also got rid of the Pearl 2004 sim), and I'm still getting the error. I'm not sure if I managed to get all the components uninstalled, though; it gave me a couple "such and such is already up to date" messages during the re-install.
Anyone know what I can do to fix this? I've found a couple posts in here about "ACW not running" errors, but nothing directly relevant to my problem.
Titan sim - "ACW not installed" error

I'm not sure whether it works properly on virtual machines.
I recommend trying a v6.0 install first to see if that works.
Normally you can resolve this by launching Usb Console and select ACW service/start from the menus.
If it still fails with v6 (including manual start of ACW if necessary) then Bootcamp is probably the best option.
