Does it have a mib function ??

Can you flip fixtures ??

Can a playback run from a go button ??

The almost released version 6 has comprehensive move in dark.

You can flip fixtures.

You can step through cue lists with a go button. This can either be the dedicated button when it is 'connected' to the required list (this can be automatic) or one of the buttons above the playback faders when these are used. Alternatively (for non-cue list playbacks) you could set a button to a latch function and fire with that should you wish.

Note that you can download the simulator and try it out. At the time of writing this is still version 5.0 so will be missing the new move in dark functions but might still help you.

Hey Nic,

can we count this as another vote for a 'Go Cue' function/key profile? I, amongst many others, are desperately waiting for something like this.

So that it doesn't get lost in this thread would you mind entering it in the feature requests sticky, preferably with a few more details and maybe an example use case? I can then enter it into the system.

Of course it's there :D - called the Shape Generator. Best to try it yourself, it's very versatile. What I love ,ost is the way how v5 works with shape pallettes: you can even store just the shape parameters as pallette, that's really cool.

And of course not to forget, the Pixel Mapper. But again, why not download the simulator, and try yourself?

The console is most definitely suited. The effects are merely one of many powerful tools that are available.

If you're in the UK either Avolites sales in London or one of the resellers. If you're overseas your local distributor. A list of all these with full contact details is available from the Avolites webpage
