How this DMX in Slot works?

At the back of my there is 5Pin Xlr slot called DMX in(other than Usual 4lines). Can I know How this slot work?
Can I loop my two Avos using this slot? if yes How they work?

You can capture DMX data and record it in a memory using Include function.

It is not for connecting two boards together.

But how does it work I mean from where I can Capture data and which memory I can Save it?

You capture whatever data is on the line that is connected to the DMX In and store it anywhere you want.

So, for example, you connect another console, fire a cue on that console, press Include, select DMX In, and then store that in a cue, palette or chase.

Short answer is no.

You could connect by MIDI and when you fire a playback on one console it will fire the same on the other. Theoretically. Can't imagine it being useful.
