Azure issues

Postby Mikeyray » 14 Jan 2005, 15:43

Hi
I was in servicing an azure shadow today and i have 3 issues with it

1 : LEDs on buttons glowing when not selected

2 : After undoing the release screws face wont open seems jammed shut

3 : In a shutter chase they have somehow re recorded including pan tilt info and i was wondering if you can remove the pan tilt info without having to start from scratch

Thanks in advance
Mikey

1. Glowing 100%? Check all cables and chips are fully inserted. In 'Avo' mode see diagnostics page to see if the leds still glow when not selected.

2. POWER DOWN FIRST! Stand the desk on the back panel and prize it apart using a tool, lightly levering it open with the small holes in the front.

3. Record by channel without altering the pan and tilt information from the locate position. Use the off menu to remove pan and tilt channels from the programmer.

Hi Mikey,

The black surround is attached to the top panel not to the bottom as it is in the touch panel version of the azure. There should be no front panel bending!

3.use the 'on' button above the encoder wheels to on/off attributes!

Please feel free to ring me at Avolites in office hours if you need further assistance.
