Weird behaviour brightness in pallets

Postby (iCe) » 30 Aug 2010, 15:54

I don't know when this became possible, but it seems you can now record brightness into pallets with Titan? I don't think I'll be using that often, but for those who will: brightness recorded in a pallet seems to always produce output, even with all the masters lowered to 0. That can't be right I think?

Intensity palettes are mastered by grand master. Are you sure you have this enabled (user settings)?

Whether they are controlled or not is a setting? Didn't check the user settings since I didn't know they were there. The only thing I know for sure is that I could produce output on movers while all masters where lowered; by pressing a pallet button.

I think my wording was confusing.

It is not a setting specific to intensity palettes, but just grand master enable/disable. This replaces the Classic 'grand master broken' user setting.

With GM enabled everything (including intensity palettes & programmer) is mastered by it.

Well, the rest got dimmed ok, but those were playbacks and regular faders, so I'm not exactly sure. Wouldn't the default setting be that the grand master works as it should? I sure can't remember changing that, but I'll check tomorrow.
