How to recognice the borris motherboard?

Postby PP » 07 Jan 2005, 00:53

Hi,

I'm about to buy me a second-hand Pearl 2000. And of course I like to know what motherboard is in it, 'cause I'd like to run the newest software.
So how can I recognice it?

I don't know in what year the desk is manufactured....

From what year did the motherboard change actually? Just to know...

Thnx in advance for helping me out....

If you can have a look at the motherboard, then you could compare it to these:

I'm sure someone else can let you know years and S/N changes.

Though I think it is a good idea to have a look inside the desk anyway. After all, they are designed to be opened easily. If the seller objects then they probably have something to hide :?

Not that it matters, AFAIK you can run the latest software on any motherboard, though if it is very old you might have to make some alterations and purchase some memory.

I was searching for pictures but couldn't find them...

This will sure help me in buying or not buying the desk.
