Pearl 2000 DMX outputs

We Had a DJ (no offense to them) plug a XLR speaker cable into the DMX output of our lighting console and now the console wont operate the movers anymore. Is there a protection fuse or a reset somewhere to fix the problem? Did he fry the board?
