(moderation note: split from tips & tricks topic)
Does this type of shape work for the D4 as well?
I have tried to make it work without luck. It seems that this could work like an Inhibitive master? Is this what you use it for?
Thanks,
John

The D4 shape system is different to the one in Titan. Although they both use the same shape file to load the shapes in from they do not use or process the values in the same way.
The D4 will fire the shape fully over the given fade time regardless of settings. Titan will crossfade the shape manually using the fader as long as it's not mode 0. Currently there is no way to create a shape 'master' on the D4 as shapes will not release like they do on Titan.
Creating custom shapes in the D4 could easily cause problems as there is a known bug where shapes can run on channels that they are not supposed to.
