Diamond 4 playback question.

Postby Vincent » 09 Nov 2004, 15:48

Something isn't quite clear in the manual of the Diamond 4 (or I just missed it): how do you playback cues programmed on the preset swop/palette buttons?
Just press the button and is it a latched memory then?
Or do you have to connect it and press GO?

Hey! Is it so damn hard to explain how the flagship of Avolites works? I feel like ignored by the team. Am I on a blacklist or something?

So I ask my question again:

how do you playback cues/chases/cuelists programmed on the preset swop/palette buttons on the Diamond 4 Elite?
Just press the button so it is latched? Or do you have to keep it pressed?

I want an answer now!

Sorry for the late reply,

The preset faders will always master the intensity of the cue and will fire it as soon as you raise it above zero.

If you are in Add/Swop mode, then the flash/swop buttons will flash or swop the cue. In fixture mode the swop button will toggle the cue, although the dimmers will still be mastered by the fader. Pressing shift-swop will kill the cue.
