Pearl 2008 Bug

Shape Generator Colour Wave O/E for SGM giotto1200 doesnt work ..
as well as other Colour Mix shapes..
Wondering anybody knows about this, and is there any way to fix it?

The shapes are the same whatever fixture you use so the fact that it does not work well on a particular fixture is probably more down to the fixture than the console.

Are movement shapes working? I`ve had multiple times that the shape generator did not work correct, so i had to wipe the desk, and need to program the whole show again.

I assume you're talking about 1200 wash? If so I can't see anything wrong with the definition. The spot version does not have colour mixing however.

Regarding loss of all shapes it is possible you need to reload shape file. This (SG.DAT) can be found on any standard aps disk and can be loaded via system menu. Once loaded you need to soft reset the console. It should not be necessary to wipe or reprogram a show. Note that this refers to loading from floppy. I'm not sure if it can be done from usb.

hi guys, im using SGM Giotto Spot 1200.
the shape i was talking about is "Col1Wave1Usr" - colour running ( not CMY mixing )
sometime it works, sometimes not!
if i was to use "Col1Wave1Usr", that must be the 1st shape that i need to get into my playback fader, otherwise it wont work just right after ive select another shape e.g Circle / FocusShakEV ....
funny that i had to re-wipe the desk just to use that 1 shape

** and 1 more thing, do i need to purchase a dongle just for Pearl tiger > Visualizer? cause i dont know any 3rd party visualizers

No you won't need a dongle to run visualiser, just download ACDI from our website.
