Pearl Tiger crashing-losing dmx signal

i'm having a problem with my pearl tiger. brand new desk bought 6 months ago.
it is crashing quite often. it's just freezing, so i'm losing the dmx signal - sometimes i have to switch it off and on again or sometimes it just does that for a second and restart itself-whether i am programming something, or operating or even doing nothing like yesterday while i was running one single shape with two lights, i went away from the desk and my movers just stopped, back to the desk it was frozen.
when it happens the first time about 5 months ago i thought it was because i deleted and recorded on some of the playbacks too many times so i did a wipe all and started from scratch. it went ok for two weeks and then crashed again.
i did the same thing again and it seemed to be ok for about a month.
and then same again.
but this week it started crashing again and quite a lot so i did a wipe all again. programmed everything slowly, didn't delete anything. same thing on the night during the show, just froze.
i don't have that much programmed in, i'm not running scenes or a theatre show, just the usual palettes, few shapes etc. for gigs and clubs.
any idea what's causing the problem?

I had a feeling someone else would have replied, but clearly not yet.

This sounds like it is most likely a hardware problem, perhaps power supply related? I suggest you contact service to get this resolved.
