Hi There,
I'm working on a nightclub with the Azure 2000.
We're using this desk for only one week now, and only have programmed 2 banks with Presets (A & B) after that we noticed a lot of strange problems, move's were not working anymore and copying (colour, gobo, prisma) presets was IMPOSSIBLE.
After a while we found out that the Avolites Azure 2000 was out of memory space.
We're using about 4 different spots (10x Robe Wash XT, 10 xRobe Spot XT, 50 x Showtec Genesis 3 & 2 Strobo's.) And only have programmed Bank A & B
We saved all info to disk, and then used the "Wipe All" function.
Then placed back the "show from disk" and suddenly we've had 62% memory free. Is this a known problem????
The manual also says that using the "CUT" function has to work like "ctrl-x" in windows and saves the preset to "Temp Memory" before u "Paste" this preset to another button.
When i use the Cut function my preset is removed but i can't Paste this to another position.
We also had a chip deliverd with the Azure Table, what's should we do with that ??
Thanks for your help.............

Azure Memory Problem
Yes, my problem is just the same.
But it only worked when i made a full back up, did WIPE ALL, and reload show.
My guess is that when u use CUT it keeps the preset in the memory but i doesn't go out there, because when you do PASTE there is nothing to PASTE.
I've already contacted Nick from Avolites and he's busy with my problem (he has a back up file from our console when we've had the problem)

Re: Azure 2000 (Software 2003) Memory Full Problem,
Did this ever get solved?!
I'm guessing as it's 2016 now and I can't find any new firmware, then no is the answer, but hey, bump bump
Perhaps it's time to sell the much loved Shadow
