i hate to ask a Hog comparison...

But is there a similar fuction to "Pig + Release" to return all fixtures to a default position, colour, beam and for stopping any embedded effects/cues.

I am new to Avo and I am quite enjoying the Diamond Elite, but would like a similar function if its available.

for the d4 there is a function for returning the fixture to a set of default values. This is locate. To use it on a d4 all you need to do is select the fixtures you want to locate and then press and hold the shift key and then hit the locate button.

This will then send the default dmx values to the fixtures selected.

on the Pearl, you select your fixtures, hit ML Menu, then locate.

It's easier than on the Hog. (I hate the hog...LOL)

Actually it's easier than that. Just select fix and press the red button at the bottom of attribute bank. In Titan you can choose to locate specific attributes only, if you require.

All this talk of Titan from Nic is becuse he is one of the lucky few who is testing Titan at the moment so the software that is released should be as much as posible free of faults.
As far as I understand once Titan is released you will need to request a CD from AVO and and they will send the upgrade to you in the post

Be glad they dont ship out a half way product but takes propper time to fix any probs!

Ahh, that makes sense!
The waiting isn't the problem - but with people talking about it on the forum as if it will "solve" problems is a bit confusing, as it makes it seem like its a current solution, when obviously it's not!

The 'problem' is solved in all currently available software. Titan merely enhances the function and I point this partly just for advance information at the time, but also for it's relevance when users search the forum in the future.

Light Jockey is good for DJ's, and that's about all.
