Titan Remote for V11.4

Postby TM4926 » 07 Oct 2024, 17:21

Hi all,

I'm running Titan One on Titan V11.4 just fine. I'm looking to link the Titan Remote to Titan One using an Android phone. There are two version of the Titan Remote (Titan Remote and Titan V16). On both apps I can discover my console (laptop), but on Titan V16 I get stuck on "Loading show" and Titan Remote says I must ensure there is no version mismatch.
I can't, however, find any way of adjusting the version on either remote apps to downgrade them to Titan V11.4, to match my console. I have no plans to purchase an Avokey.

Thanks in advance!

The Titan Remote apps in the past have been version specific so you needed to have the version of Titan Remote which matched the version of the console, i.e. Titan Remote V11. Unfortunately the older apps no longer appear to be visible on the Google Play Store. I doubt it is helpful to you but the version 11 app is still available on the Apple App Store for iPhones.

Although the new app, called just Titan Remote without a version number in the name, is intended to connect to multiple Titan versions it has only been tested back to v16.0, as v11.4 is much earlier then that it is unlikely to work.

Thanks for the reply! It's irritating that Avo would remove legacy apps then not include their use in the new version, but I appreciate that v11.4 is fairly old now. Although, considering how their licensing works it shouldn't be surprising that there's a whole lot of users still on pre-v12. I did attempt to download the v11 Remote from 3rd party services but they weren't "compatable with my phone" (it's only ~3 years old!)
