Version 10 onwards requires the Pro upgrade for the Tiger Touch. A basic check is how many network ports there are on the back of the console, Pro consoles will have two. You will also require 4GB of RAM and the UPS board installed, when you run the recovery it will check these things are correct before you install. You should be able to purchase the Pro motherboard upgrade if you need it from your local distributor.

If your console is already compatible you should be able to run the v11.1 recovery and then apply for a new licence, the licence itself should not cost anything. If you wish to upgrade to v12.0/v12.1 you will need to purchase an AvoKey as well.

if I was you - after showing those pictures - I'd better be prepared to answer questions where this console comes from as it is as obvious as a fake can be

not gonna go into much detail but if you compare pictures with a real one the DMX connectors give it away pretty instantly.

You should try to get your money back and email ric@avolites.com with details where you got this console from.
