Hello
I noticed that when importing an effect from another show the multy cell effects do not import as multy cell but as whole lights. This even happens when importing on the same lights as the origin effect.
The effects are crated with shapes and effects engine and then selected run on sub fixtures linear.
What would be the correct way to do it so that this works?

Hi Urban,
Please could you confirm what version of Titan you are observing this in?
Best,
Peter

Re: Multi cell effects not importing
Hello, did some further analasys on v11.3 symulator at home using the built in capture.
Noticed that if you copy the lights the multy cell effects are not working for the copied light
If you exchange the lights the multy cell effects still work normally on the different type of light.

Re: Multi cell effects not importing
Hi Urban,
Thanks for noting this. We're currently investigating some unexpected behaviour when importing cues containing multi-cell effects, but it seems likely that there is some erroneous behaviour here, particularly if the shape was recorded using a group or type group.
Meanwhile, please could you clarify the steps that you're following for the error when copying? I'm seeing the correct behaviour with the following steps:

- Start new show
- Patch 1 x Showtek "Suntrip Active DMX" address 1.1
- [Group] [1] [Enter] {Shapes & Effects} {Shape Generator} {Create} {Dimmer} {Dimmer Spread} {Sub Fixtures (Linear)} [@C] [10] [Enter]
- [Record] [Fader 1 Swop] [Clear]
- [Patch] [Copy] {Fixture 1 handle} {Empty Fixture Handle}
- {Repatch Fixture} [2] [Enter] [11] [Enter] [Avo]+[Exit]
- Raise fader 1 to full
- Observe correct multicell effect playing back in DMX view
Best,
Pete

Re: Multi cell effects not importing
Having said the above, I've just noticed that if in step 3 if you don't record using the type-group but with the fixture directly (i.e. omit [Group]) then the effect is not run correctly on the cells. Thanks for bringing this to our attention - we'll seek to rectify this in a future software version.
