Bpm master
So I am on a gig now and I have set a bpm master on a colour step up shape. When I am tapping in the tempo of the song it’s way too fast. The master does have a x1 underneath it but it’s way too fast. Can anyone explain to a sleep deprived stressed fellow lampy. @niclights

Hi Bobby! Reading between the lines I would guess that you need to set the beat count to 'Match to Spread'.
To adjust this on a live shape go to [Shapes And Effects], [Shape Generator], [Edit], select the shape you want to edit and press <enter> then:
if running 10.1:
- [Beat Count]
- [Match to Spread]
or if running 11.0:
- [Adjust Beats and Cycles]
- Touch the middle of the wheel display A or press wheel A @ button
- [Match to Spread]

Re: Bpm master
Thanks Nic. Will try it when band comes back on. See you soon.
Re: Bpm master
If you want to adjust the multiplier for the BPM Master rather than change the shapes it is connected to, you can do this by:
That being said, Nic's solution is probably more correct and better in the long run.
- Selecting the Playback Options softkey followed by the BPM Master.
- Toggling the fader option so that it controls the Multiplier.
- Moving the fader to the middle to level match and then down to the desired level.
- Toggling the fader option back to BPM (assuming you want this).
That being said, Nic's solution is probably more correct and better in the long run.
