Pearl Titan expert - Wheels not working with screen connected

Postby SJPMC » 23 Dec 2017, 21:49

Hello,

I just got a pearl expert, and I connected an external touch screen, whenever I'm creating a new palette I can't use the wheels to modify attributes as in the 2010?? Have to punch down on the keyboard the exact value of the attribute, how can I make use of the desks encoders for this?

Example : creating a color palette, select fixture click on screen for a new pallete, modify the attribute as I'd like by rotating the encoder to my desired position so than I can save the palette.. ( rather than having to input for instance,130 for pink)

Thanks in advance

If you have a touch wing connected to the Expert it is possible to assign the wheel control to that. Check in user settings that wheel control is set to Expert rather than wing.

An external screen should not default as an Expert Touch wing. There is a setting for Expert Touch detection in System > Display Settings which by default should be set to Auto-Detect. Other options allow you to force enable or disable Expert Touch mode.
