Is there a way to have a static playback button that will release one or more specific active playbacks?
for instance, I have several chases running, and I want a single button to stop two specific chases at the same time.
Static playback Button to release other active playbacks

Re: Static playback Button to release other active playbacks
You could create a cuelist that fires macros to release the chase playbacks. This would rely on setting specific handles to release but if you set it up to fire first cue and also release itself (probably using a second cue set to fire after previous with the 'Release Me' macro) it should work as a single button hit. However, it may be easier to just create a macro that does the sane and put it on a button.
Re: Static playback Button to release other active playbacks
OK, having a little trouble with finding out how I actually run a macro from within a cue list...
The manual says "press playback options" "Select the cue list" then it says to "Select macros" ---- can't find this [macros] option anywhere... tried the physical [macro] button on my desk (Quartz) but no joy....
help. lol.

Re: Static playback Button to release other active playbacks
It should be in [Playback Options]/[Cue Options] but it would appear the macros softkey has gone AWOL. However, you can access this via Playback View. To open Playback View either touch on the legend area above the playback if on a fader or press OPEN/VIEW/<playback handle>. Then in Playback View select the macro cell on the cue you want to add a macro then press [Add] followed by the macro itself.
