Random Characters in STAGE VIEW

Postby iadwm » 24 Apr 2006, 21:41

(Pearl2004 V1.2)

I noticed this the other day and wondered if it was known ....

In STAGE VIEW, I occasionally see random characters flash over the regular data - it's not just limited to alphanumerics - even get the playing card symbols and all kinds of other stuff!. At first I thought it was amusing - trying to see if there was a pattern to it (it was that kind of job!). Now I just find it annoying!

Sometimes it wont happen at all.

Any takers?

Regards,

Andy

Must ride flat!

Yepper, me too! Try reseating the video card and make sure all the other chips are also seated properly. Then always transport the desk flat. This seems to have cured those problems with our Pearls, Iain :)

To be honest....

...I always thought the language was Swedish. Although the constant prodding seemed to make the problem go away. Also changed the disk drives in a couple, for some reason that seemed to have some bearing on the problem.
