Dimmer chase on playback
I wrote a simple on/off dimmer chase on playback fader two. It works only for swap but not for fader or flash. I set priority to higher than the cue on fader one with no different result. Can or should this be made a ltp cue? Also can the fader adjust the cue speed?
Re: Dimmer chase on playback
What is on playback one? Dimmers are always HTP. If playback one contains the dimmers that are used in playback two where the levels are the same or higher than in the chase when it is active then the chase will have no effect. Unfortunately there is no way to make it LTP at the moment.
Chase faders cannot control speed but you could assign a rate or BPM master which can be used to adjust speed by fader level.

Re: Dimmer chase on playback
Ok so my scenes I created all have intensity included. Should I program no intensity then have a separate intensity fader for groups of lights that I can bring down and then bring up the intensity chase fader? Also is the bomb master a separate handle or do I make the chase fader a Bpm master. Thanks for all your help
Re: Dimmer chase on playback
Not bomb fader. I meant Bpm fader!!!
Re: Dimmer chase on playback
I don't think there is a right or wrong way to program. There are many ways of going about things depending on how you prefer to operate and what you want to achieve. Do whatever works best for you.
Speed masters are separate handles.
