Pearl 2010 & saving a moving head with macro

Postby Music & Lights » 22 Feb 2016, 10:16

hi,

when I save a light macro onto a slider on the pearl 2010 and then when I bring it down to zero. the macro keeps showing ......I cant fade it... neither does the masters have any effect to blackout the units.

pls can someone help, explain how to solve this?

thanks,
Alfie

That will be correct as the attribute is LTP. To make an LTP attribute fade by fader set the playback to mode 2 ([Edit Times]). Note that it will try to fade from the current value to the one set in the playback so you will need to manually set it to a different value (ie. zero) after recording/changing mode to see it work.

Additionally, the attribute must be set to fading. If it is set to instant in the personality you can change this in the software by going to Patch/[Patch Utilities]/[Set/Reset Instant Mode].

any tip on what I need to do there..... so it will apply as default when I access the usb drive, from the 2010 itself.

HTP/LTP and fading/instant can be set per attribute in the DMX table. Most personalities have details about the format and syntax.
