Hi Support, thanks for all the excellent answers from previous questions.
Another one!
I have two Chauvet Spot Duo fixtures which each have two separately addressable heads. Is it possible to create a circle shape using the shape generator with phase shift applied so that it spreads across all four heads or within each pair and save this to a shape pallet? I have achieved this with a saved playback but everything I try when saving the shape to the shape pallet results in the heads all moving identically.
Also there is no DMX out of the dongle when creating a new show unless I deselect DMX from line 1 and then re-patch it to line 1. Is this intentional or a bug or maybe something unique to my setup?
Many thanks in advance, Steve

Re: Shapes Pallet
Re. shapes - if you create a shape palette where the shape is applied to sub-fixtures you need to apply the palette to the sub fixtures for the spread to work correctly. I'm not certain if this is a bug or by design but the main thing at the moment is there is a workaround.
So, in short:
- Select cells
- Record group (for later)
- Create shape and apply to sub fixtures
- Set spread
- Record palette
To recall
- Select the new group
- Apply palette
This obviously skips the detail but the important part is selecting the group (or manually selecting the cells) before applying the palette. If you just select the super (master) fixture and apply the palette it will just apply to the master whole fixture, ignoring the cells and associated spreads.

Re: Shapes Pallet
Thanks Nic, worked fine. Another learning curve dilemma resolved.
