Hello everyone,
I am currently working with an titan mobile in an open location were beside me an couble other people should use the desk. But they don't know much about the desk and 9 out of 10 times they would only use it to dim the house lights and turn on the front lights.
But now we had some problems with people deleting fixtures and effects.
I tried to make an different page for them to use but that didn't make any difference.
So is there a way of making it more fail save?

Re: making the console save to use for everyone
I think this wold a feature request
but I'd like to see a .. "playback only" mode locked to the desk with a code where on screen is the only the playbacks touch page /fader labels ( for mobile/quartz ) and the only keys that work are the faders and their keys + page change and the chase stop /connect/go section .
Kinda like when you would turn the key to run mode on the legacy desks.

A little bit of 'security by obscurity' might help -
Save a separate copy of your showfile and...
Close all windows on the screen (Avo + Close)
Delete any saved workspaces, and delete the ones that are assigned to the bottom row of buttons by default.
That should at least make it a bit harder, they can't delete what they can't see....

Creating a second user with it's own handle world would help with this a bit as you could keep all the fixtures/workspaces assigned in the original handle world and only have the required playbacks in the new one. You could also set the key profile and other user settings for the second user e.g. to disable Quick Record. Then whenever you need to make changes you can switch to the original user and switch back once you are done. This won't lock it down completely, so keeping a copy of the show file would still be a good idea, but it would help to prevent accidental changes.
