I recently had Avolites make me a new personality for a fixture. I synced the new library into my Pearl 2008 and Pearl Tiger. When I went to the unknown manufacturer heading (which is where the personality was placed) my board will freeze and say" Memory Allocation Out Of Memory" I have tried deleting all my old show files and have even erased the personalities and re synced them all. I don't have this problem when I go to other manufacturers in the list. Just the "Unknown" category. Is it possible this list is too big??
Boards have no issue rebooting, but when I get the error they freeze and I'm forced to shut down.
Thank you for any help.

Hmm. Interesting. Not something I'm aware of but might be known. Will raise this as a priority. In the meantime it should be possible to work around by making some sort of custom personality list on a thumbdrive. Just ensure you follow the correct folder structure - if you extract one of the installers to a PC you will see how it works. The simplest solution could be to do this, delete all the 'unknowns' that you don't need and then copy the whole thing to a drive.

Thank you!! That worked. Just to let you know, I deleted 1300 personalities from the Unknown folder (I only kept about 100 one of which was the one I was looking for). I am able to access that folder with no issues now in both consoles.
I re wiped the fixtures from both consoles then synced the fixtures. This was after I deleted the files from the unknown folder (I simply accessed the folder on the usb stick and deleted many personalities being careful to stay away from the one personality I wanted). Now both consoles are running great.
Again, much thanks,
Chadillac
