dimmer shapes for led bars - sub fixtures spread not working

Hi,

I've got a problem with shape generator.

If I want to get a 'walking light' effect on led bars, I simply choose - for example - red from colour effects, run it on sub fixtures and set properly the spread. But when I want to use any other colour mix, I want to set this colour and use the dimmer saw effect. When I choose the dimmer saw, run it on sub fixtures and set the spread - the effect still is running on super fixtures. Am I wrong or is it an error?

Which fixtures exactly? It might be related to whether the sub fixtures have dimmers or not.
