Remote set up

Hi. Can't seem to get remote connecting with tiger touch. Does anyone have a minute to give a step by step set up guide.
I've got an apple airport express and iphone4.

Are the iPhone and the console both set to the same IP subnet as the airport? The iPhone will almost certainly get this automatically by selecting it wirelessely but the console has to be set manually (System/[Network Settings])

These are the numbers in airport :
Ip 169.254.1.24
LAN ip 10.0.1.1
Subnet 255.255.0.0

I've connected phone and it shows:
Ip10.0.1.2
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Router 10.0.1.1

GOT IT!
I changed phone to static and entered the same info and it appeared in remote.
