Hi, does anyone know if the PCsuite runs ok on a standard 1366x768 touchscreen laptop?
The releasenotes say that it needs a minimum of 1200x800 but most affordable laptops do not meet those specs.
Anyone? Thanks.

Re: Minimum screen resolution for Titan PC suite?
Hi, no one from AVO who can answer this question?
I have to decide what kind of laptop to buy within a few days because Me and my Titan Mobile are going on tour at the end of next week. So please, can you give me a hint?
Thanks,
Arie

Re: Minimum screen resolution for Titan PC suite?
It should just about fit with a height of 768 pixels however you may need to maximise the window and either reduce the size of your taskbar or set it to hide automatically.

Thanks Gregory. Although "It should just about fit" doesn't sound 100% sure, i'll go for it and will a new laptop this weekend. Thanks.

Re: Minimum screen resolution for Titan PC suite?
If I may add something: I resized the windows and read the size with an external tool. The minimum height where all buttons of TitanOne fit is 732 px. Regarding width: the wider, the better - else, the buttons in the workspace windows resize and re-arrange, labels are truncated etc. Something like 1150px width is the absolute minimum.
As for the Titan Mobile program window, min. height is 700px (else the softbuttons are not reachable), min. width is approx. 1000px - again: the wider, the better.
Of course, other display settings might also have impact. But as Gregory already wrote: 1366x768 will be really okay.

Re: Minimum screen resolution for Titan PC suite?
How about for a second screen ? what would you call the mins ?
I mean second screen as laptop the main: 4 palette sections windows+ programmer+ fader labels then a secondary screen for wing faders, + palettes and such .
I'm not sure if that made it more confusing or less LOL
I'm just finding it hard to find a secondary screen with touch that is compact yet high res ( 1366x768 or higher) mostly I find those in the 20" plus range for economical priced monitors but I can find small ones with say 1024x768

Re: Minimum screen resolution for Titan PC suite?
There will be less of an issue for a second display as it will just be four quarter windows rather than having to worry about the touch playback area, softkeys, wheel display and workspace shortcuts. So 1024x768 should be fine.

Thanks
how bout with the mobile wing added? I assume you have a playback area for it ? would that be a problem then ? ( I'm not sure exactly how that works )

Re: Minimum screen resolution for Titan PC suite?
The mobile wing is displayed in a standard window at the moment. There is no separate playback area on the second display. If you want you can test all this by looking in the simulator and resize the two windows.
