The Tiger Touch II is an update to the Tiger Touch console including the upgraded motherboard, processor and UPS which were in the Tiger Touch Pro. In addition the TT2 has a new larger and brighter touchscreen, a top mounted USB port for saving and loading shows, a SMPTE timecode input and an updated program panel to bring it in line with the Titan Mobile and Sapphire Touch. There are 3 on display on the Avolites stand at PLASA, M10 & M20, and will be available to purchase shortly.

Is there a site or document comparing the Tiger Touch, Tiger Touch Pro, and Tiger Touch 2?

People looking at buying new or used consoles would probably benefit in knowing the differences...

That a little annoying after getting a Tiger Touch Pro as soon as it came out earlier in the year. That's less than a year before a newer model has hit the market.

What's the deal with that?

I understand it may seem frustrating that there is another new version of the Tiger Touch so soon after the Pro. The screen used in previous Tiger Touch consoles will shortly not be available to us in significant numbers. We had to move forward with the new screen, which is larger than the current one. As a result we had to redesign the boards inside the desk to accommodate it. This gave us an opportunity to address the differing button layouts between Tiger Touch, and the Titan Mobile and Sapphire Touch.

We will of course continue to support the entire Tiger Touch line with software updates and spare parts, and show files are fully compatible.
